Little, a 6-foot-3, 205-pound athlete from Durham (N.C.) Hillside who is Scout.com's No.1-ranked player in the state's junior class, has yet to speak to a member of the Tar Heels' coaching staff since receiving the offer, but plans to call the staff soon.
In addition to UNC, Little owns offers from Duke, Florida, Mississippi, NC State, Nebraska, South Carolina, Virginia, and Wake Forest.
With a consistently growing list of options, Little has decided to keep things open regarding favorites. However, he could definitely see himself playing in the Tar Heels' offense.
"The offense they run is really sort of what we run at my high school," he said.
If Little eventually does end up playing in the Tar Heels' offense, the staff isn't quite sure where that will be.
"I think they want me as both [a wide receiver and tailback]," said Little. "Most schools want me as both."
During his junior season, Little mostly played tailback where he rushed 160 times for 1,166 yards and 26 touchdowns. During reps at wide out, he caught 23 passes for 375 yards and four touchdowns. In limited action on defense, Little picked off four passes.
