|Hassan Muhammad is an athlete hailing from Baltimore (MD) Cardinal Gibbons. He plays on both sides of the ball as a running back/wide receiver and defensive back. Muhammad started on the varsity squad his freshmen year when he played at Columbia (MD) Oakland Mills. The next two seasons he posted impressive stats for Cardinal Gibbons High School. Muhammad transferred to Fort George G Meade (MD) Meade in February of this year to finish his high school career.|
So far in his high school career Muhammad has recorded 3608 yards rushing, 2084 yards on punt/kickoff returns, 637 yards receiving, for a grand total of 6329 yards and 54 touchdowns. Defensively he has nine interceptions, 161 tackles, and four fumbles recovered. The most impressive stat to date is 494 rushing attempts and only 3 fumbles lost.
"I've coached Hassan for the past two years and in those two years I have seen a great player who will shine at the next level," said Coach Donte Robinson. "Hassan is the type of player who wants the best out of himself and with that it brings out the best in the players around him. He is always trying to get that edge. He pushes himself way beyond his own limits. Hassan has done things on the field at this level that cannot be taught it is just his instincts for the game that are good."
Muhammad has accomplished many achievements in his career so far including being selected to the the All-MIAA B Conference team as a Runningback in both 2000 and 2001, the All-Metro(Baltimore) area second team for All Purpose Back in 2000, the All-Baltimore City/County first team defense as a defensive back in 2001, and the Consensus All-State Team in 2001. He also broke a single season rushing record, 1730 yards, at Cardinal Gibbons with 1737 yards and has been selected two years in a row to the Who's Who in High School magazine.

Muhammad plans to attend a one day camp at North Carolina.
