CHAPEL HILL, NC - June 12, 2002 -- Flagship Media, Inc. and Citadel Publishing have announced the re-launch of Inside Carolina Magazine. The overhauled magazine will debut in August 2002 as a monthly publication published ten times a year.

The new and improved Inside Carolina Magazine will be printed entirely on an eye-catching, all-glossy format, similar to other high quality magazines like Sports Illustrated, and will continue to deliver top-notch feature articles on University of North Carolina football and basketball, as it has for the past eight years.

Buck Sanders, the President of Flagship Media, Inc., acquired Inside Carolina Magazine last year and shortly thereafter joined forces with accomplished web publisher Ben Sherman. In less than 12 months since the partnership, has become the Internet's most popular web site covering the Tar Heels. Sherman has been hired as the magazine's Editor-in-Chief.

"With Ben Sherman as our new full-time editor, and our association with Citadel Publishing, we believe that Inside Carolina will establish itself as the premier publication covering football and basketball at the University of North Carolina," Sanders said.
