Earlier in the month, Dembry unofficially visited Chapel Hill furthering his feelings towards the school.
"It was fine," said Dembry. "We watched their spring practice, toured the facilities, walked into the locker room, showed us what its like to be there after a practice, and met with different coaches."
Among the coaches Dembry met was his recruiting coordinator, Kenny Browning, and then his position coach, Frank Cignetti, signaling the possibility that the Tar Heels might be recruiting the 6-foot-2, 175-pound athlete as a quarterback.
During the visit, Dembry, who holds scholarship offers from N.C. State and East Carolina, didn't receive the opportunity to discuss the possibility of a UNC offer.
"Not yet, but I hope they do soon," said Dembry of the discussion of a scholarship offer.
Dembry has also unofficially visited N.C. State and will visit Auburn this Friday.
Last season, Dembry, starring at quarterback, rushed for almost 800 yards and 12 touchdowns and passed for over 500 yards and five touchdowns.
