Want to know what a terrific stat line looks like? How about 30 points (12-19 FG), 20 rebounds, four steals and two blocks. UNC's incoming freshman Sean May led his Indiana squad over the Kentucky All-Stars, 87-82, in Owensboro, Ky. last night. He had a double-double by halftime.
"Is there any question for anybody in the state of Indiana who is Mr. Basketball?" Indiana coach Steve Brunes said to the Hoosier Times
. "He's done nothing but prove that."
When the game was on the line, Indiana knew who to get the ball to.
"(The guards) told me it was crunch time and just get down low and post up hard," May told the Courier-Journal. "It was good they kept telling me that, because I might have floated around a little more. I tend to do that a lot."
The two teams will play each other again next Saturday at Conseco Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.
