Little Drops By Campus, Again

On Thursday the North Carolina coaching staff extended special invitations to a few recruits to hang out with the staff. five-star athlete Greg Little was among the group.

"Basically, we went out to eat with the coaches," said Little. "We just went back over to the offices and watched some highlight tape. [Offensive Coordinator Frank Cignetti] explained to me how I would be used in the offense – how I would get the ball."

During discussions about the offense, Cignetti talked about the what the future would look like if both Little and four-star quarterback Mike Paulus were wearing Carolina Blue.

"They really talked about the connection between me and Mike Paulus," said Little. "They were talking about the success we could have together at Carolina."

A few days after narrowing his list of favorites down to seven schools – which included UNC, Little reneged on the idea after the addition of scholarship offers from Oklahoma, Georgia, and Penn State. While he still maintains his an open list, Little claims North Carolina chances are good.

"Carolina is a really great school," said Little. "I like the school's academics as well as athletics. If I were to get hurt, I would still like to go to Carolina."

Over the course of the last few months Little has unofficially visited plenty of campuses. However, he hasn't visited any other campus as many times as he has Chapel Hill.

"It's just so close and I just get plenty of opportunities to go there any time," said Little.

A 6-foot-3, 205-pound athlete from Durham (N.C.) Hillside, Little has around 23 scholarship offers and isn't planning to narrow things down until later in the year.
