Little, a 6-foot-4 210-pound athlete from Durham (N.C.) Hillside, has already camped at N.C. State and has taken unofficial visits to Duke and East Carolina to this summer. Following the Tar Heels' camp, Little will unofficially visit Florida [July 21st] and Penn State [early August].
In addition to Paulus and Little, other expected visitors include Scout.com five-star prospect Lansford Watson, Lamar Milstead, and Jason Barnes, among others.
"Besides [Dwight] Jones and Jon Smith and Paulus, that's all I know of that will be there, but I heard a lot of [highly touted] players are supposed to be there," said Little.
Little continues to keep an open dialog with Paulus with the latest discussions revolving around this weekend's activities.
"About once a week [I talk to Paulus]," said Little. "Sometimes [it's about] recruiting, and sometimes it's just regular conversations.
"We have talked about the weekend – just about who all is coming in and having a good time, basically. We might go out and get a bite to eat during the weekend."
Little's recruiting contacts aren't limited to Paulus, though.
"I've talked to [Jimmy] Clausen, I've talked to Arrelious [Benn] a little bit," said Little. "I'm trying to get online with Marvin Austin. I'm trying to get a feel for everybody."
With over 50 scholarship offers on the table, Little has decided it's about that time to begin to narrow his options down.
"I'll probably have things narrowed down, say next weekend," said Little. "[I'll have it narrowed down] to about five or six or seven [schools]. Right now, I don't know of any [schools] that just stand out enough to make the cut.
"[I'll be focusing on] coaches, playing time, and academics."
After establishing a final list of favorites, Little will begin to take official visits with the goal of announcing a verbal commitment during his homecoming game on October 6th.
Although Little's primary recruiter is Kenny Browning, his contact with the Tar Heels' coaching staff has shifted to Tommy Thigpen.
"I talk to those guys everyday or every other day – so it's going pretty good," said Little. "Lately, I've been talking mostly to Tommy Thigpen. He does most of the setting up of the social life of the guys. [When we talk] sometimes I think he tries to stay away from the recruiting and just get a regular conversation going."
In his junior season at Hillside, Little mostly played tailback where he rushed 160 times for 1,166 yards and 26 touchdowns. During reps at wideout, he caught 23 passes for 375 yards and four touchdowns. In limited action on defense, Little picked off four passes.
