Little wasn't ready to reveal any of the schools that have already made the cut, but has an official visit scheduled with Notre Dame (September 16th) and is working on setting one up with Southern Cal.
With steady contact through his recruitment, North Carolina appears a lock to make the cut.
"[North Carolina's chances] are looking pretty good, right now," said Little. "I've been there a lot and know the coaches real well, so that helps."
Little is still eyeing October 6th – his high school's homecoming – as the date he announces his collegiate decision. Before then, he'll take official visits to each member of his final five.
In between his travels to college campuses, Little will be focusing on his senior season, especially his new position of slot receiver.
Last season, Little started at tailback where he rushed 160 times for 1,166 yards and 26 touchdowns. During reps at wideout, he caught 23 passes for 375 yards and four touchdowns.
Little and his Hillside teammates will travel to McLeansville (N.C.) Northeast Guilford Friday for their season opener.
