Inside Carolina: How many offers do you have now Steven?
Steven Justice: I have three offers; Wake Forest, Southern Miss, and Rutgers.

IC: Who else is recruiting you?
Justice: North Carolina, Florida, Miami and others.

IC: How is the off-season conditioning going?
Justice: Really good. I have my weight up to 270 now.

IC: Tell us about your recent trip to Carolina.
Justice: The day was scheduled for six hours (10-4). There were about 15 recruits there. First we watched some Carolina Football highlights. Then we toured the locker room, weightroom and stadium. After that we broke for lunch. Coach Bunting talked with us after lunch. There was an academic advisor that talked about academics. There was some time allotted for questions and answers. Coach Hunter took some of us (OL recruits) into his office and discussed his philosophy as to what he was looking for in an offensive lineman. The rest of the day was set aside for touring the campus but I have visited so many times that we (Steve and family) decided to skip that. I also spent some time with my brother.

IC: Who else was in Coach Hunter's office with you when you talked?
Justice: Charles Porterfield and an offensive lineman from Georgia.

IC: What did Coach Hunter say?
Justice: He said that he wanted to watch each of us play this season. He also said that ideally he likes OL between 6-3 and 6-7. He wants to wait to see how each of us develops and pick who he thinks would be best for North Carolina.

IC: Did it bother you to hear him say that?
Justice: No, I understood where he was coming from.

IC: Did you meet any other recruits there?
Justice: They announced that there were already two guys that had previously committed. I talked to one of them, a tight end from Virginia.

IC: Jon Hamlett?
Justice: Yes, that is him.

IC: What did you talk with Jon about?
Justice: He asked me what I thought about Carolina and if I had been offered. When I told him that I had not been offered he said that if I continue to work hard then I would probably get an offer. I thought he was a pretty nice guy.

IC: Do you plan to commit soon to one of the three schools that have offered?
Justice: No, I think I am going to wait and see what happens.

IC: Thanks Steven and good luck.
