  • In the Carrier Dome, Mike Paulus led Syracuse (N.Y.) Christian Brothers Academy to a 35-13 victory over Liverpool (N.Y.). Paulus completed 22-of-29 passes for 342 yards and three touchdowns. He did throw two interceptions. Post-Standard Story
  • In a 27-21 victory, Jonathan Smith and the Durham (N.C.) Hillside defense "clamped down on Eastern Alamance when it counted," according to the Durham Herald Sun. "We bend, but we don't break," Smith told the Herald Sun. "Our DBs lock you down, our linebackers are athletic, and we like playing downhill. We communicated good, and we stayed together."   • William Brimfield's Nesses (S.C.) Hunter-Kinard-Tyler lost to Williamson (S.C.) Williamson-Elko, 16-13... Mike Dykes' Pittsburgh (Pa.) Woodland Hills were defeated by Pittsburgh (Pa.) Mount Lebanon, 23-14... Cameron Holland's Pittsburgh (Pa.) Perry Traditional Academy were shutout by Erie (Pa.) Cathedral Prep, 33-0... Lamar Milstead's Washington (D.C.)
