Delvon Roe Unable to Trim List

Just a few days ago Delvon Roe stated that he would cut his list to five or six schools. But things have changed. After a meeting with his high school coach and parents Thursday, the 6-8, 220-pound forward decided now isn't the time to eliminate schools.

"I have a pretty good idea [of who I like]," Roe said Thursday evening. "I don't need to rush or anything. I'm going to wait until October or November [to narrow it down]. So I can give time to other schools."

While the majority of the schools on his list have been recruiting him for a long time, there are a few new ones. Roe said the current list of schools recruiting him are Michigan State, Michigan, Ohio State, North Carolina, Louisville, Cincinnati, Kansas, Indiana, Illinois, Florida, Miami and Georgia Tech.

"Another thing I want to look at is how many college coaches come watch me play," said the No. 5-ranked junior according to Scout.com. "I want to see which coaches will be there and find out if they want me or not. So I'm going to wait and see."

Roe also stated that his visits to Ohio State and North Carolina are still on. He will be at Ohio State on Sept. 16 and will travel to Chapel Hill for "Late Night with Roy," which is being held October 13th.
