Sinclair, a 5-foot-11 185-pound safety from Jacksonville (Fla.) Mandarin, also includes Mississippi, N.C. State, South Florida, and West Virginia on his list.
"Everything's equal right now," said Sinclair. "I'll probably have a leader later on, like at the end of September or October."
To develop an order in his favorites list, Sinclair will take official visits to all five schools. He has already begun talks with one school regarding an official trip.
"One of my visits is going to be in November to N.C. State," said Sinclair. "The coach [at N.C. State] is supposed to call me next week to get everything squared away with it."
Sinclair emphasized that he wants to make an official visit to Chapel Hill.
"I would like to go up to North Carolina, but I don't know when that will be, though," said Sinclair. "I'll have to talk to the coaches more about that."
"They text me everyday – at least four times a week," said Sinclair. "They have different people texting me."
Mandarin is off to a 4-0 start with Sinclair leading a stiff defense at his hybrid safety/linebacker position. On the year, Sinclair has accumulated 32 tackles, an interception, a forced fumble, and a fumble recovery.
