Four Officials Left for Gronkowski

Rumors began to circulate recently that Rob Gronkowski had eliminated North Carolina from contention.

"I don't know – kind of," said Gronkowski, when asked about the rumors. "I'm still interested in them – I don't know. I'm still interested in them."

When listing his favorites, Gronkowski, a 6-foot-6 235-pound tight end, still includes the Tar Heels.

"My favorites are Syracuse, Maryland, Arizona, Clemson, Ohio State, and North Carolina," said Gronkowski. "I'm going to take official visits to all of them, except Maryland [because] I'm there all the time."

This past weekend, Gronkowski took his first official visit.

"I just took one to Syracuse this week," said Gronkowski. "It went good. I hung out with coaches, went out to dinner, and went to the game. I sat down [with the coaches] and went over some plays."

Besides last week's trip to Syracuse, Gronkowski hasn't scheduled any of his official visits. He hopes to schedule the majority of his remaining visits after his senior season.

Finally settling into the offense of his new high school, Pittsburgh (Pa.) Woodland Hills, Gronkowski caught his first two touchdown passes of the season this past Friday. Woodland Hills is off to a 4-1 record, having won every game Gronkowski has played in.
