"I've been doing what I've had to do for my team to win," Davis said Sunday evening.
On December 1st, Connecticut and North Carolina had assistants present to watch Davis score 24 points in a win over Douglas Freeman. The very next day Davis went for 25 points as Roy Williams looked on from the stands.
Davis said he's hearing the most from Connecticut, Virginia, Clemson, North Carolina, Virginia Tech and Maryland. Of the six schools, the Tar Heels are the only team that's yet to offer him a scholarship.
"I think [UNC's interest has] been strong because Coach Williams was at one of my games this year," Davis said.
While he's yet to take a visit to Chapel Hill, Davis did get a chance to take an unofficial to Virginia for their opener against Arizona. He said he plans to set up some visits during Christmas break or following the season.
When asked if planned to take a visit to UNC Davis responded, "Yes, we just haven't scheduled all of that up yet."
Davis, who said he hopes to make his decision in the fall, will play in a high profile matchup against Oak Hill Academy on Saturday night.
