Tar Heels sold out of season tickets

CHAPEL HILL --- The University of North Carolina no longer has season football tickets for sale, Director of Athletic Tickets Clint Gwaltney announced Friday.

"We've sold 32,300 season tickets and are completely sold out of tickets for the Texas and NC State games," Gwaltney says. "We do have tickets on sale for the remaining four games, including next Saturday's opener."

The Tar Heels kick off the 2002 college football season on Saturday, August 31, against Miami of Ohio. Gametime is 1:30 p.m. Tickets are $28.

UNC also has tickets for sale for the September 28 game against Georgia Tech, the November 2 game against Maryland and the November 9 game against Clemson.
