With a UNC offer now in hand, Brown, a 5-foot-10 190-pound wide receiver from Maple Heights (Ohio), is preparing to make his final collegiate decision.
"I'm going to come to a decision either [Monday] or Tuesday," said Brown. "It's down to North Carolina and UConn."
At this point, Brown said he doesn't have a leader between the Tar Heels and Huskies.
"Right now, I can't even say [where I'm leaning towards], because they're both even – I like them both" said Brown. "I've got to sit down tonight and think about it.
"[I'm looking at] what environment will help me succeed more – like somewhere that I can get on the field [early]. Like at UConn, I already know if I come, I can get on the field early. North Carolina is the same way since they just got new coaches and everybody starts off from scratch."
Assisting Brown with his decision are two in-home visits he's hosting this week. Coaches from Connecticut will visit Monday, while North Carolina representatives will travel to Maple Heights Tuesday.
This past weekend, Brown took an official visit to Storrs.
"It went good – I liked it, it was nice," said Brown. "The players, the facilities – everything was nice. I didn't think it was going to be that nice. Everything [facility-wise] was brand new – I liked it."
During his senior season, Brown starred at wide receiver where he caught 37 passes for 985 yards and 12 touchdowns. He also played cornerback and safety, and returned kicks and punts.
