"It's been a long, confusing process... [and I decided probably like 10 minutes ago--I'm a Heel," Jones said as he pulled a white hat with a Carolina blue interlocking "NC" logo from his pocket and placed it on his head to a round of applause from family members in his living room.

It was such a late decision that as early as this morning Jones told his girlfriend that he was going to Tennessee after having dreams about Tennesee last night.

"I woke up this morning, I thought 'Tennesee.' Then I thought about it [and] I was like 'Ahhh.' Kind of tough, I love it. Then I thought about it and thought about my first love, Carolina."

As a senior, the Burlington product caught 67 passes and accumulated 1,396 yards on the way to 12 touchdowns and 93 yards/game, and it looks like the Carolina staff already has a plan for him.

"[The UNC coaches] think I will see playing time next year," said Jones. "He really didn't say how many balls I will catch, but he said they will throw the ball 40-45 times per game. That's eight to 10 catches for me. I really love catching the ball, getting the ball and helping the team."
