UNC Interested in Tenn. LB

During the Evaluation Period, North Carolina added Antonio Harper to their list of linebacker targets.

"They just really just started recruiting me," said Harper. "They've been sending mail and then they came by the school."

Harper, 6-foot-4 200-pounder from Memphis (Tenn.) Melrose, hasn't been offered a UNC scholarship. He has, however, picked up offers already from Alabama, Illinois, Memphis, Miami, and Mississippi.

This spring, Harper hasn't made any unofficial visits. He plans to attend a few camps this summer, but said he isn't sure which ones.

With no campus visits under his belt, it comes as no surprise that Harper hasn't established any favorites.

"No favorites – all schools are even," said Harper.

Harper is unsure when he'll narrow his list of options or even make a verbal commitment. However, he does know what he's looking for in a school.

"I'm focusing on how the coaches treat me and how I connect with the players," said Harper.

As a junior, Harper was a 4A First Team All-State selection after collecting 95 tackles, three interceptions and five sacks.
