UNC-Arizona State Football Game Time Set

Chapel Hill, N.C. -- Kickoff for North Carolina's non-conference football game at Arizona State on Saturday, October 5 has been set for 10 p.m. EST (7 p.m. MST). The game will not be televised.

Carolina has not played a team from the Pac-10 since falling at Stanford, 37-34, in 1998.

Carolina and Arizona State are meeting for just the second time and the first time in the regular season. Arizona State defeated Carolina, 48-26, in the 1970 Peach Bowl. Carolina head coach John Bunting started at linebacker for the Tar Heels in that game and had six tackles.
