North Carolina signee Albert Craddock will spend at least one year at Pearl River Community College located in Poplarville (Miss.), according to his mother Inell Craddock.
Craddock, a 6-foot-2 200-pound linebacker from High Point (N.C.) Southwest Guilford, originally was slated to prep at Chatham (Va.) Hargrave Military Academy after being unable to pass the NCAA Clearinghouse.
"[Hargrave didn't work out] because he didn't score high enough on his placement test," Inell Craddock said.
Given the situation, UNC recommended Craddock enroll at Pearl River.
His mother reaffirmed that once he is able to meet the academic requirements, Craddock will become a Tar Heel.
Craddock will leave Sunday for Pearl River.
