    Commitments
  • Braden Haden completed 20-of-28 of his passes for 293 yards and two touchdowns in Charlotte (N.C.) Latin's 44-22 victory over Charlotte (N.C.) Catholic. Hanson's 71.4 completion percentage would have been significantly better if not for four dropped passes."We kind of expected they would play back, in terms of passing, and give us some short stuff," Hanson told the Charlotte Observer. "But our receivers were able to get by (their defenders)." Charlotte Observer Story
  • In Chesapeake (Va.) Smith's 41-0 shutout of Chesapeake (Va.) Hickory, Todd Harrelson scored three all-purpose touchdowns (an 80-yard run, a 9-yard catch, and a second catch). On the night, Harrelson caught four passes for 108 yards. "We just had a bad game last year," Harrelson told the Virginia-Pilot. "We didn't really talk about revenge. We just came out and dominated them this time." Virginia-Pilot Story
  • Ebele Okakpu's Roswell (Ga.) defeated Marietta (Ga.) Lassiter, 38-7.
