    Other Targets
  • Dwayne Allen caught three passes for 32 yards in Fayetteville (N.C.) Sanford's 37-0 shutout of Angier (N.C.) Harnett Central. Fayetteville Observer Story
  • A Arthur Brown-led defense shutout Wichita (Kan.) West to give Wichita (Kan.) East a 21-0 win. "One of our goals as a defense is to shut out our opponents," Brown told the Wichita Eagle. "I think it's obvious we did a good job of achieving that goal tonight. They had a couple of chances down inside the 20, but we stepped up. We executed and did our job." Wichita Eagle Story
  • Marcus Sales caught a two-point conversion in Syracuse (N.Y.) Christian Brothers' 31-21 defeat of Manlius (N.Y.) Fayetteville-Manlius.
  • Despite suffering from the stomach flu, Darrell Scott rushed for 297 yards and scored all four of the Ventura (Calif.) St. Bonaventure's touchdowns as they defeated Canyon Country (Calif.) Canyon, 28-17. On the first play from scrimmage, Scott rushed 88 yards for a touchdown. Scott also scored from 9, 3 and 5 yards out, the final two deciding the game in the second half after Canyon forced a 14-14 halftime tie. Ventura County Star Story
