Guillory De-Commits

One day after verbally committing to North Carolina, Nathan Guillory de-committed on Wednesday.

"They told me that they wouldn't be able to bring me into the school [for the spring semester]," Guillory said. "They didn't really tell me [why], I think it's a numbers thing."

UNC offered Guillory, a 5-foot-10, 180-pound tailback from Coffeyville (Kan.), the opportunity to enroll next fall instead, but he decided against that notion.

"They told me it's my choice to come back next semester and finish up here [at Coffeyville] and then go there," Guillory said. "But I was like, ‘I'm going to go to another school.'"

In addition to UNC, Guillory has received scholarship offers from Kansas State, Memphis, and Oklahoma State.

Guillory was scheduled to officially visit UNC in the coming weeks, but unsurprisingly that trip has been cancelled.

He said he will take an official trip to Kansas State on November 17th and schedule trips with Memphis and Oklahoma State in the very near future.

Guillory's Coffeyville teammate Melvin Williams also committed to UNC this week. According to Guillory, Williams' verbal pledge to the Tar Heels is unaffected by this development.
