"I liked it a lot, I like all the coaches," said Henson. "I like Coach Williams a lot and I like the campus, too. Overall I'd say the visit went pretty good. The town and the campus, I really like the way it's set up."
During the game, Henson enjoyed taking in the Dean Dome and was also surprised at some of the attention he was getting from fans.
"I liked it a lot, the style of play and the Dean Dome is pretty nice," said. "I got to meet a lot of people and they were nice. A few people realized that I was a recruit and a few people took some pictures and stuff. It was different, I hadn't had that happen to me before so I guess that was pretty cool."
Not surprisingly, Henson also had a chance to spend some time with the current players -- even if it was only a relatively brief time.
"I mostly got to spend time with them in the locker room and the coaches introduced to me all of them," said Henson. "It was a real nice atmosphere and everybody was really down to earth."
While going through the recruitment process has been an adventure of its own, Henson still has his eyes on taking care of business on the high school level.
"The season is going pretty good but we just lost a game on Friday it was our second district game, so we're one and one there. We've got another one coming up on the second and we need to win that one," said Henson. "I'm doing pretty good, I'm averaging a nice little stat line and we're starting to come together a little bit. The games that we're on we can really beat anybody so that's encouraging.
"We've never even been in the playoffs and that's something that I'd like to change. I'm a junior now and I really want to win some playoff games."
Shifting back into recruiting mode, the Texan feels that he's gotten about all of the information that he needs. He's not planning any other visits at this time and thinks that he may be ready to move towards a decision, perhaps sooner than later.
"Right now it could be next week, or next month you never know," said Henson. "Since I've seen all the schools I'm going to talk to my dad and see what is the best fit and best decision for me. I do feel like I could make a decision right now based off of what I've seen."
While he didn't want to name any frontrunners, Henson did say that things were down to a pretty select group that he'd be making a decision from.
"You've got Carolina, of course, then you've got Texas sand UCLA," said Henson. "I like Texas A&M, too, and Baylor. I don't really know yet, but when I talk to my dad we'll figure some things out and be able to make that decision."
