Henson Vaults Into Top 5

Scout.com released its updated Class of 2009 Top 100 rankings Tuesday and one of the biggest risers is North Carolina commitment John Henson. The 6-10 forward from Round Rock (Texas) is now the top-ranked power forward and the No. 4 junior overall in the nation.

John Henson's string of impressive performances this spring raised his ranking from No. 24 at the outset of the AAU season, to No. 13 at the mid-way point and now to No. 4.

The Tar Heels' three other commitments from the junior class are also ranked in the Top 100. Elizabeth (N.J.) St. Patrick guard Dexter Strickland checks in at No. 12, while twin power forwards David Wear and Travis Wear of Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei are ranked No. 52 and No. 53, respectively.
