  • Tavon Austin: "...ran for 245 yards on 11 carries and scored four times as the visiting Poets extended their winning streak against Baltimore City opponents to 20. Austin scored the first three touchdowns on runs of 59 and 16 yards and a 55-yard punt return." -- Baltimore Sun Article

  • Erik Highsmith: "We have mostly seniors on this team and the underclassmen look up to us," Highsmith told the Sun Journal. "We have to lead them by example." He rushed once for 12 yards and caught five passes for 85 yards. -- Sun Journal Article
  • Mywan Jackson: "By halftime - after Armwood quarterback Mywan Jackson ran and passed almost at will - the score was 34-7...   • Donte Moss: "... scored three touchdowns and assisted a defense that yielded just 86 yards of total offense." "People keep saying we are a one-man team and we feel disrespected because of that," Moss told the Daily News. "We just outmuscled them. We put pressure on them.".   • Jerrell Rhodes: "...  rushed for 118 yards and two touchdowns on 16 carries, and the Falcons' offense exploded for 375 yards on the ground." He scored on runs of 28 and 2 yards.-- Herald Sun Article
  • Logan Thomas: "I'm excited about (the playoffs), but nervous at the same time because you're one game from stepping out early and from and getting where you want to be," Thomas told the News & Advance.
