New Offer for Barnes

Harrison Barnes has received attention from nearly every top program in the country. On Tuesday, he picked up another offer.

According to sources close to the situation, Roy Williams and his staff, who watched Barnes repeatedly on the AAU circuit and multiple times in open gyms, have now offered the top ranked wing in the class of 2010.

To go with an offer from UNC, Barnes also holds offers from Duke, Florida, Iowa, Iowa State, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisville, LSU, Minnesota, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas, UCLA and USC.

Barnes has already taken a handful of unofficial visits. Most recently, he traveled to Duke this past weekend, went to Kansas for 'Late Night in the Phog' and attended Florida's elite camp at the end of the summer.

The 6-foot-6 prospect out of Ames (Iowa) High used a terrific summer to raise his stock and catapult himself in the rankings. He's an explosive athlete, that can get to the rim, but also is the owner of a good-looking jumper shot with range to 23-feet.

Barnes is ranked the No. 3 overall prospect in the class of 2010 by Scout.com.
