The answer is no. He did not schedule any visits during the last two weeks because his West Branch HS team faced the possibility of advancing into the state finals.
"We were going to state's for football," Hall said. "We lost the state semi-finals to Oakton." But don't worry Nittany Lions fans, Vince will travel north to Happy Valley before all is said and done with his recruitment. Vince will be visiting Penn State on January 17th. But State College will not be his final visits. He will go to North Carolina on January 11th and Tennessee on January 24th. His fifth and final visit remains up in the air.
"I'm suppose to go to South Carolina some day during the week before signing day, but we haven't really discussed that yet. I can't fit it [an official visit] in anywhere else."
In an earlier official visit on 11-29, Vince checked out home state school, Virginia Tech.
"It was fine. I've been there so many times."
Despite rumors that he was leaning to either Penn State or Virginia Tech, Vince denied any type of leader or leaders.
"Tell you the truth, no. Everyone's still in the running."
Both Virginia Tech and North Carolina have already been in Vince's home one time apiece. But Vince plans on taking all of his official visits and the Nittany Lions are guaranteed one of the four slots.
Vince echoed some of his past thoughts when asked why he liked Penn State so much.
"I like their tradition, their linebacking crew. I went to one of their games [Nebraska] and I like the fans. And Coach Paterno. But he's not really a factor because I don't know when he will leave."
