Holley commits to Carolina!

Inside Carolina has learned that the Tar Heels have added yet another star wide receiver to their recruiting class.

Jesse Holley, a 6-4, 190-pound wideout from Roselle (N.J.) High, announced his commitment to North Carolina tonight after his team's basketball game.

According to News Channel 12 in New Jersey, Holley committed to UNC over UVA. "Next fall I will be enrolling in the Unversity of North Carolina," Holley said. "The two schools are similar academically, I just felt a sense of security there. I can help this program out on both levels, in football and basketball."

Holley, who chose UNC over Virginia, visited Chapel Hill this past weekend. He's a two-sport star, rated one of the top shooting guards in New Jersey, but his primary focus will be on the gridiron.

He holds school records for receptions (106), receiving yards (1,449) and receiving touchdowns (27) and was named Second Team All-State as a senior.
