  • Everett Golson: "...the Seahawks pulled away in the second half behind another brilliant performance from junior quarterback Everett Golson..." He completed 21-of-34 passes for 349 yards and six touchdowns. -- The Sun News
  • Maurice Harris: He caught a 12-yard pass, which converted a fake punt late in the fourth quarter. He also intercepted a pass in the end zone and returned it to his opponent's 10-yard line. -- News & Record
  • Marcus Lattimore: He rushed for 72 yards on nine carries. -- Herald-Journal | Greenville News
  • Christian LeMay: "Christian LeMay sparked what his teammates called the biggest win in school history, a 38-31 come-from-behind nail-biter over the Raiders in front of a standing-room only crowd that didn't sit all game." He passed for 318 yards and four touchdowns and rushed for another score. -- Charlotte Observer
  • Ty Linton: He scored three rushing touchdowns of 10, 3, and 61 yards. He also recorded a safety.
  • Christian Russell: "If there's anything Christian Russell can't do on a football field, Westover coach Milton Butts hasn't figured out yet what it is." He rushed 36 times for 214 yards and four touchdowns. -- Fayetteville Observer
  • Reggie Wilkins: "Wilkins, bottled up much of the night, broke free on a 48-yard gainer to get Crest untracked early in the fourth quarter. That ignited a scoring drive to put Crest in front 10 points for the first time." He rushed for 76 yards on 10 carries and passed for 25 yards on 2-of-6 passing. -- Shelby Star
