"I haven't signed any papers yet. So everyone is still in it and nothing has changed. I am not going to make a commitment until I am 100 percent sure."
Guy has taken official visits to Clemson, North Carolina and Maryland. He had in-home visits with Clemson and UNC as well.
Admittedly, Guy is not showing his hand and does not plan to anytime soon.
"Whenever I feel comfortable," Guy said of his intentions. "Coach (Randy) Ledford is more into getting my grades situated than the football side of things. He wants me to get an education."
Are Guy's grades a concern for the schools after his services? It doesn't seem so at this point.
"They [grades] are fine; I just have to maintain them. I have to (work hard in the classroom)."
The 6-3, 250 pound senior from Hope Mills Southview would be a nice addition to an already highly-rated recruiting class and would certainly help improve UNC's offensive line.
Guy has gotten to know Isaiah "Puff" Thomas, another highly-touted lineman and UNC prospect. However, he has not spoken to Puff lately.
"Last time I talked to Puff, it was the weekend of the UNC visit."
Guy said there is no scheduled in-home visit with Maryland this week.
Have all three schools in the race for Guy offered?
"Basically, yeah they have," he said.
