Terry, Justice Named Football Academic All-ACC

GREENSBORO, N.C. -- University of North Carolina offensive lineman Jeb Terry and linebacker Doug Justice have been named to the 2002 Atlantic Coast Conference All-Academic football team as announced by Commissioner John Swofford.

Terry, who earned a spot on the team with a 3.5 grade point average in business, played in all 12 games last season and started 10. He started eight games at right guard and two at right tackle. He is one of five returning starters on the offensive line in 2003.

Justice, who has a 3.45 GPA while enrolled in the general college, played in all 12 games and started 11 last season at middle linebacker. Justice finished the season with 97 tackles, the most by a freshman since Dwight Hollier had 117 in 1988. Justice had 69 solo stops, 28 assists, forced three fumbles and had two tackles for losses. He was named fourth-team freshman All-America by The Sporting News.
