The star forward didn't know his exact statistics but felt like he posted a pretty strong season. "I scored a lot more this year," Williams said. "I was more aggressive on offense. Last year I was pretty passive."
A strong summer of 2002 where Williams excelled at the ABCD Camp and then again in Vegas at the Big Time probably gave him all the confidence he needed.
Head coaches like Roy Williams, Lorenzo Romar and Matt Doherty made appearances and you can bet a bevy of other schools visited him as well.
A transformed bulldog on the court, Williams is pretty casual with his recruitment right now. "I'm just concentrating on the season and school now but I'll probably start thinking about it more. I haven't taken my SAT yet."
Taking the SAT is key to being able to take official visits. Prospects have to post a test score in order to qualify to take official trips.
Williams, while not real excited about producing a list of schools he's interested in, did say that Kansas, North Carolina, Washington, Arizona and Oregon are recruiting him pretty hard and Duke had been out to see him as well.
