North Dakota State hasn't been very active with offers to wide receivers so far in this 2016 class, but a few days ago the Bison staff extended one to Cedar Rapids (Iowa) Prairie receiver Jalen Rima. BisonReport caught up with Rima to hear more about his new NDSU offer.

"I have offers from North Dakota State, Western Illinois and Northern Iowa right now," Rima said to BisonReport. "I'm also hearing from Iowa and Iowa State. All those schools say they are impressed with my highlight video and that they are excited to see me at their camps soon. I was at Iowa last weekend, I'll be at Iowa State this weekend, might be at NDSU on the 20th and I'll be at UNI on the 28th, so I have a busy month ahead of me."

The Bison were among Rima's first offers.

"NDSU offered around June 1st I believe," Rima explained. "I was offered by the head coach, Coach Klieman and he told me that I'm at the top of their wide receiver board and they're real excited about me. They love my speed and athleticism and think I can be a real difference maker for them. I haven't visited there yet, but I'm hoping to hit their camp next weekend, so we'll see if I get there as I'm busy with baseball right now."

Rima has NDSU on top following the offer as the coaches are expressing a lot of interest in the Iowa receiver.

"North Dakota State is at the top for sure," Rima said to BisonReport. "I love how they're always winning and they're showing the most interest in me right now. I'be been talking some with Coach Roehl and he can't wait for me to get to campus soon. I've seen NDSU play a lot as I always go to their game when they play UNI, plus I've seen some of their facilities online. I'm hoping to make a decision after my senior season so I have a real chance to look at all my options."
