Hoffman Estates (Ill.) defensive end Dante Cleveland has seen his recruitment take off a bit heading into the summer as he's now sitting at six division one offers, including one from North Dakota State. BisonReport caught up with Cleveland Monday afternoon to learn more about his recruiting.

"I now have offers from Army, Austin Peay, Ball State, Central Michigan, North Dakota State and Western Illinois," Cleveland said to BisonReport. "I'm getting interest from Western and Eastern Michigan, Illinois, Iowa, Northern Iowa, Fordham, Northern Illinois and Indiana. I also camped at Northwestern, Northern Illinois and Ohio State recently and I plan on camping at Iowa in two weeks. It's been pretty crazy, but I love it."

Even going against numerous FBS schools, the Bison have made an impression on Cleveland.

"I got my NDSU offer last Thursday from their head coach," Cleveland explained. "They wanted to offer as I'm a very versatile player that has great character that fits their program well. I've also been talking with Coach Klanderman about the program up there and how successful it is. I've heard a lot about North Dakota State and how great and successful their program is, but just in general I've heard nothing but great things about their program. I'm interested and I want to check them out soon."

The Bison are looking to get a visit this summer from the Illinois defensive end.

"I'm thinking of visiting there this summer and hopefully it'll be in July," Cleveland told the BisonReport. "North Dakota State is in my top five with Ball State, Central Michigan, Army and Western Illinois in no order. I really like how they have an overall great program and educational opportunities up there."
