Robbinsdale Cooper safety Moses Nyangacha camped at NDSU last weekend and ended up leaving with a full Bison offer. The BisonReport caught up with Nyangacha to learn more about his recruiting and NDSU offer.
"I was lucky enough to receive a full offer from NDSU following camp this past weekend," Nyangacha said to the BisonReport. "They wanted my film over the weekend before camp and then I did well during individual drills and one on ones, so they offered me. They want work me in at nickleback, so I'd be putting weight on if I commit."
Working with the Bison coaches was a fun experience for Nyangacha.
"I worked the most with Coach Klanderman and Entz while I was up in Fargo," Nyangacha explained. "They both liked the athleticism I showed and want to work me in at DB and outside linebacker more if I was to come. I spoke with Coach Klieman after camp and he's the one who offered. He said he liked everything that I did and really wanted me to get back on campus for a visit soon. I haven't seen much of campus, but I've toured the football facilities and think they're all amazing. Everything is great there."
NDSU climbs to the top of the Minnesota athlete's list with the offer.
"I'm still in shock about the offer," Nyangacha explained. "It's crazy as they're such a great program. I'm going to take my time here and think, but they're my favorite right now. They're the favorite for sure right now as they're my biggest offer. It's definitely a place I can see myself going as I love the place."
Nyangacha has a few camps left before a decision.
"I may camp at Iowa or Eastern Michigan next. After that, probably Northern Illinois and then Minnesota in July as well. I was thinking about making a decision around August, before the start of my season and I'll be done with camps as well. I'm just blessed to have this opportunity and good news might be coming soon for NDSU. We'll have to see."
