Only one day after the Bison picked up their first commitment of the 2016 class in Karson Schoening, their hot streak continued Monday night as Becker (Minn.) two-star Dillon Radunz committed to Coach Klieman and staff. The BisonReport caught up with Radunz to hear more about his decision.

"Yes, it's true I've committed to NDSU," Radunz told the BisonReport. "I had offers from USD, SDSU, Northern Illinois, UNI and Wyoming before choosing NDSU tonight. The tradition and community there is unbeatable. They may not be a division one single A team, but they sure do know how to play football and the community is very much behind them."

The Becker lineman actually camped at NDSU this past weekend.

"I went to the camp up there last weekend as an OL and it was great," Radunz explained. "That's what I'm committed as is offensive line. I loved working with the coaches up there as every single one of them has a passion for the game and a passion to win. I love seeing that. Working with offensive line coach, Coach Riley was awesome and he's great. He's the best OL coach I've met. He's very calm and collected off the field and it's nice. But he knows when it's time to play football and he will definitely make me a better player as that's just who he is."

Radunz says the Bison coaches were thrilled to hear he wanted to come play in Fargo.

"I called Coach Riley to commit and ended up talking with him and Coach Klieman," Radunz told the BisonReport. "I told them I wanted to be a Bison and they were thrilled to hear that, so we just talked about that and talked about the next few weeks or so. I knew that NDSU was the place for me after meeting the coaches this weekend and being able to feel what it was like to be on campus. I also liked seeing how the coaches coached and how they functioned together. My mom loves my decision. She is super excited and she loves that I will be close enough so she can come and watch me play."

Tradition and the Bison fans were huge keys in landing Radunz.

"The thing that put them above everything else for me was the tradition and community there as it's unbeatable. The fans there are amazing, especially on game day as the Fargodome gets so loud. The football team is very involved in the community and everybody knows NDSU football up there. It's a great atmosphere to live a college life and the education is great too. I'm done with recruiting now and am firm to NDSU and I want fans to know that I just hope I can bring in even bigger crowds to the Fargodome and help continue the winning tradition there."
