NDSU LB commit Ross Kennelly took an unofficial visit to Fargo for the Bison's game on Saturday

NDSU LB commit Ross Kennelly took an unofficial visit to Fargo for the Bison's game on Saturday and saw NDSU handle Weber State 41-14. Kennelly spoke with the BisonReport to talk about his visit.

"It was awesome and the environment was great," NDSU LB commit Ross Kennelly said to the BisonReport. "Everyone was crazy for Bison Football and that was cool to see. My family and I had a great time as my dad, mom and sister were all with me."

Talking with the NDSU coaches and taking in the atmosphere at the Fargodome were highlights for Kennelly.

"I talked to the coaches before such as Coach Entz, Goeser and Klieman, plus a few others stopped by too," Kennelly explained. "I talked to Entz the most and he was just asking about my season how my family was. Things like that. They were excited my family and I were able to make it out for a game. The atmosphere was crazy. The fans were loud and the dome was loud. We went through the tailgate lot and it was crazy how dedicated some of the fans are there. It's probably the best atmosphere I've been around in football. I also talked with NDSU commits Braydon Lund and Karson Schoening as well, mostly with Braydon though. It was fun and I'm glad I got to meet those guys."

Bison fans still have nothing to worry about in Kennelly.

"Nothing's really new in recruiting other than a few teams still talking to me like UMD and MSU, and then some from Wisconsin as well. I'm still very firm with NDSU."
