NDSU offer puts the Bison on top for Cox

North Dakota State extended an offer to Missouri athlete Jabril Cox last night as a linebacker and the Bison are now at the top of the list.

"North Dakota State offered me last night," Missouri athlete Jabril Cox said to the BisonReport. "I spoke with Coach Riley and he said they think I could be a big part of what they want to accomplish at NDSU. I'm the good looking, long athlete that they're looking for at OLB and they offered a full scholarship. They think very highly of me and so forth."

Cox is pretty familar with the Bison program.

"They are a very good program and have a great tradition," Cox explained to the BisonReport. "One of the tops, if not the top FCS program in America. They've been talking to me since May of this year I believe and I haven't visited there yet. I'm very interested in this new offer as it's a big one to get. NDSU is a power in the FCS and to have them offer me means a lot because they don't just give out offers like that."

NDSU may be getting a visit from the Missouri linebacker this weekend.

"Hopefully I can get down there this weekend for an unofficial visit," Cox said. "NDSU is up top on my list for sure as I've always thought they were a great school."
