"I got to meet my position coach, Coach Riley and the OC Coach Polasek, plus got to try on the jerseys, which is always cool," West Fargo OL Zach Willis said to the BisonReport about his recent NDSU visit. "It was huge for me to meet guys who might be my future teammates. Growing up in Fargo, I've visited the campus a ton, but it was cool to have a visit tailored to my interests for my major."
Willis enjoyed his time with the Bison coaches.
"Coach Riley just told me that it was good to have me on campus. Other than that, it was pretty much casual conversation, getting go know each other better. Coach Polasek said the same kind of deal. Coach Polasek and Roehl both harped on the importance of the Rams. I thought it was cool having my position being recognized like that there."
An NDSU offer would be a major deal for the Fargo offensive lineman.
"An NDSU offer would be, well, it'd be a dream come true," Willis explained to the BisonReport. "Growing up watching the Bison, it never came across my mind that it could be me on the field one day. I'm super grateful to have the interest that i do right now from them. It would be all my hard work paying off. The home town team that I've watched my whole life, who's the best team in the country, offering me in any form would be like the peak for me. Couldn't see it being much better than that. I've already signed up for their camp this summer, so we'll what happens."
