"I've been to Iowa State and NDSU within the past several weeks," Nebraska's Jack Begley said to the BisonReport. "I'll be going to Nebraska this Saturday and I've been invited to a Jr. Day/Camp at Notre Dame this June. Other than that I've been hearing from Wyoming, K-State, Kansas, Ohio, and SDSU, so things have been going well."
Iowa State was a recent visit of Begley's.
"I had a good time and it was exciting to get to check out their campus," Begley explained. "I was able to talk with their safeties coach/defensive coordinator quite a bit. They really liked my tape and they see me possibly moving down from safety to outside linebacker, which is similar to what some other schools have been projecting me as."
North Dakota State was also a great visit for Begley.
"I talked extensively with Coach Riley throughout the visit. He is actually a family friend of my dad's, so they had a chance to catch up on things as well. Then I was able to talk with Coach Klieman and Coach Entz for a little while before touring the facilities and the campus. Coach Riley said they have me as the top defensive player in Nebraska on their boards right now, and just to be patient with them this spring as they sort things out. Coach Klieman and I just had a casual conversation about how things were going this spring and their past season, also we talked a little bit about Nick DeLuca and how well he is doing because he was also a Millard North guy like myself. I liked how everything on campus is situated close together, and I think the facilities are top-notch and will be getting even better in the next year as they finish their new weight room and indoor facility."
A Bison offer would go a long way for the Nebraska defensive back.
"It would mean a lot to have an opportunity to be apart of and add to their tradition of winning national championships," Begley added. "NDSU is definitely up there on my list after my visit last week. I'm not sure if I'll be camping there yet or not."
