South Dakota OL/DL Costner Ching has a lot of interest in North Dakota State following an unofficial visit. The BisonReport spoke with him following the visit to get an update on his recruiting.

"The visit pretty much encompasses everything that NDSU has to offer," Castlewood (S.D.) athlete Costner Ching said to the BisonReport. "I got to see the facilities that NDSU offers to a football player, and most importantly the classrooms and dorms. I also was able to meet the amazing coaching staff the Bison have up there!"

Ching already has a pretty good connection with one on the NDSU staff.

"I've talked a lot with coach Tyler Roehl and was able to talk with him more on the visit," Ching explained to the BisonReport. "He told me that the NDSU staff is interested and he's excited for the future, but probably not as much as me though! He plans to come down sometime in April to see me and then he's hoping that I'll come camp with them this summer."

The South Dakota native was also impressed with the Bison's campus and academic situation.

"I liked the campus there in Fargo! While I was there, I could already sense it was a fun and exciting environment. That the people liked each other. Also, it isn't a giant campus which is something I'm looking for. I thought I tour guy was extremely good! I can't recall his name though, but he did a heck of a job. I really enjoy that the teachers would take the time for you there at NDSU."

An NDSU offer would go along way for Ching.

"An offer from the Bison would mean a lot. NDSU is a great program. They have a great agriculture program which I plan to go into and they also have a great football program as if you can put up five straight national championships, that says something. Also, Fargo is an amazing town. It's not far from home, and it reminds me of home with all the farm equipment and the people they have up there."
