"We toured the facilities, I got to put on a jersey, see the rings, their stadium and locker room and that sort of stuff," Osseo offensive lineman Nash Jensen explained to the BisonReport. "I also saw their dome where they practice sometimes and also had a campus tour that was cut short by snow. We also got to meet their coaching staff."
Jensen was impressed by the Bison's campus and facilities in Fargo.
"The campus was beautiful," Jensen said to the BisonReport. "I got to see some of the dorms and a new building for the science department. We also got to eat at their "All you can eat buffet on campus." Their facilities are top notch. They really take care of their players and help with injured players to get them back on the field as soon as possible. One part of their facilities we didn't get to see was the weight room because of the snow so I was sort of disappointed about that."
The Osseo offensive lineman enjoyed his time with the NDSU coaching staff.
"When we had lunch I had full conversation with Coach Klieman and Coach Riley, I got to meet the entire staff there, but those two I talked with the most," Jensen told the BisonReport. "After the visit was over, Coach Riley took me and my dad up to his office and we talked for a little while longer. From the second Coach Riley started talking to my dad and I, I knew he was a great coach. He spoke very highly of me and he loved my film and the way I play. He sees me playing guard if I go to NDSU. I really look to see if a school's offensive line coach has the same traits as the coach I have at Osseo and he really fit the description. He can't wait to work with me at camp and get to know me more. He said once he really gets to know me more, that that will raise my chance of getting an offer from them which would be huge. The main reason he didn't offer at the visit was because that was the first time I had met him. Coach Klieman talked about what NDSU football was all about and about coming out to camp. He also spoke very highly of me and loved the way I played. While I wasn't around, they were talking to my dad and they both said my dad was a very hard working man and they could tell that had rubbed off on me which mad my dad and I feel pretty good. He also stressed academics."
Jensen would be honored to receive an offer from the Bison.
"It would be a huge honor. It would be a huge confidence booster and would make me even more interested than I already am in the school. It would make them an even higher priority to me. They are a top five school on my list right now mainly because of the coaching staff. They are an amazing and obviously successful coaching staff that can change players and help them to play at their full potential. They are just like the coaching staff we had at Osseo this past year. They are very passionate for the game of football and they love their players. I may be going to Iowa State's Junior Day again this weekend, but if not, I'm going go to a spring practice. Also going try to also set one up with Iowa."
