"I got to meet the coaching staff, tour campus and see the facilities," Burnsville OL Jake Staats said to the BisonReport. "The campus is very nice and it feels very at home. Great school pride and learning environment. The facilities were top notch too as everything is new and being updated, so it was a great visit."
Staats also was able to speak with the NDSU coaching staff.
"I spoke the most with Coach Entz and Riley," Staats explained. "Entz and I talked about the town, what other colleges I've been taking to, and what I've been doing in the off-season and Riley said he likes how I and Burnsville play old school football. There was no talk of offer as they want me to come to summer camp and compete. It encourages me to keep working hard so I can achieve my goals of an offer."
The Burnsville OL is a big fan of the Bison after his visit.
"I really like the NDSU program as it reminds me of Burnsville. Very similar coaching philosophy and It would be great playing for the Bison. I'm really working on building my strength in the off-season here as I want to dominate in the trenches and you have to out power people with strength. An NDSU offer would be a major blessing to me and my family as I've always wanted to play college football and to get the opportunity to would be a blessing."
