"The NDSU visit was really fun!," Wisconsin tight end Luke Romnek said to the BisonReport. "I loved the atmosphere of practice and NDSU practices a lot like we do. Made me want to suit up and get out there. I also loved the fact the Bison coaches and players were so humble about the five straight national championships. I also thought the campus was great as I really liked how it was spread out. Nice and open. I'd be very excited to come back again soon."
Romnek is also a fan of the facilities the Bison have in Fargo.
"The bubble was awesome. I liked how it was a full 100 yard field and the Fargodome was by far the the best stadium I've seen in college football. The offices and the trophies are probably the nicest coaches office I've seen thus far in the recruiting process."
The Menasha tight end also had some time with the NDSU coaches.
"I talked a lot with Coach Jacobs and Coach Polasek while on the visit," Romnek explained to the BisonReport. "Coach Jacobs didn't say much other than getting us settled in and situated and Coach Polasek was the one who I talked to at the end because he was the Wisconsin recruiter. Polasek was talking with me about how things are going at school and how I felt about the visit, and neither coaches mentioned an offer, but hopefully soon."
Romnek hopes the Bison send an offer his way soon.
"It would be an honor to receive an offer from one of the most successful college football programs in history with North Dakota State. NDSU is one of my top two schools so far as the facilities are great, the program is amazing and most of all, the great people there. The only other visit I have planned right now is to Northern Iowa in April."
