"We got a tour of the campus and we talked to all the NDSU coaches as well," Dickinson (N.D.) offensive tackle Cody Holt said to the BisonReport about his recent visit to Fargo. "It was a big campus, but super nice. They have a very nice campus. We did ge ta look at the academics as well as we went through all the main classroom settings and looked at all the lab rooms too. I got a few ideas of some of the things I may want to major in, but I'm not 100% for sure what I want to major in yet. The Fargodome is freaking awesome as it's just so big and such a great atmosphere during games. I was able to go watch a game a few months ago during their season and I really enjoyed myself there."
The Bison coaches also made sure to get a word in with the in-state offensive tackle.
"I talked the most with coach Hedberg who is my area recruiting coach, and also with head coach, Chris Klieman," Holt explained to the BisonReport. "Coach Hedberg talked about the camp this summer and about how important this next season for me will be. Coach Klieman talked about how the football team works and what they strive to do as a team and what it means to be a Bison. As far as an offer, they were saying that it will mostly depend on what they get for an evaluation this summer at camp, so I'll be there."
An offer from North Dakota State would be a great feeling for Holt.
"It would be awesome," Holt said about the possibility of an offer from the Bison. "I mean to have a division 1 school offer me a scholarship would be amazing. My interest in them right now is very high and it would be an honor to play for them. The only other school I've heard from besides NDSU is Wyoming and that's just been letters."
