"I had a great time on my North Dakota State visit," Iowa lineman Jared Brinkman said to the BisonReport. "While on the visit, I got to meet and talk to a lot of the coaches, received a tour of the facilities, sat in on some position meetings and watched practice. I liked the campus a lot as all the buildings were nice. I liked the student to teacher ratio and it's a big campus with the feel of a small campus, that I like. The facilities were great. They looked new and can't wait to see the weight room when they are done with that. Practice had a very high tempo and a lot of intensity, plus I learned a lot from watching the coaches and had a great time."
Brinkman also chatted a lot with the Bison coaches.
"I talked with coach Roehl, Goeser and Riley while on the visit," Brinkman explained to the BisonReport. "Coach Roehl told me they like me and want me to come to camp. Goeser and I talked about the recruiting process and I sat in on coach Riley's offensive line meeting. He told me that I'm on their list and I just need to earn an offer at camp this summer. I'm excited to show them what I can do as I think I can earn that offer. An NDSU offer would be a great feeling because NDSU is a great football program."
The Iowa lineman has been busy visiting other neighboring schools.
"I just visited Northern Iowa this past weekend, I was at Illinois State a few weeks ago and I was at Iowa State like a month ago. Iowa State told me they like really like me, so we'll see what happens there, but Air Force said they also have me high on their board and the coach thinks they'll offer me."
