"We got to go inside the SHAC, which will be incredible once it's finished," West Fargo OL Zach Willis said to the BisonReport. "I also got to spend some more time with the coaches, still working to build relationships. Got the opportunity to watch the spring game, which was cool, just as a Bison fan. The game was great as I had two of my teammates with, and the team looked sharp. It was a great time."
Willis also spoke a lot with the Bison coaching staff once again.
"I talked the most with coach Riley, Hedberg and Klieman on Saturday," Willis explained. "Riley said that it was good to see me and he liked the way I play. Pretty relaxed conversation. Hedberg was excited to recruit me, and that if I got an offer, it'd be after camp. Klieman just said that he was excited about the team this year, just said hi to all of us West Fargo kids. I was fine with the fact that I'll likely have to earn an offer from NDSU at camp as I understand their process. An NDSU offer would mean a lot, but I also like the schools that have offered me already. I'll have a tough choice to make."
"I visited North Dakota on April 16th and they called me the week after and offered me," Willis explained to the BisonReport. "They wanted to build a championship caliber team with guys from our state, and they think I fit that mold. North Dakota is a great school both academically and with the team, and they think I'm a great get too. My interested level them is pretty high at the moment because of their facilities, the academics and my relationship with the coaches."
"I'm feeling great about South Dakota State too, as it's very close between them and North Dakota right now," Willis told the BisonReport. "I'll be visiting Northern Iowa this weekend and then I'm done with visits. It's prom, the Opening in Chicago and the state track. I'll be camping at SDSU, North Dakota, Minnesota, Northern Iowa, Iowa State and NDSY this summer too."
