It was just a junior day as we got to check out the offices and the facilities while we were there," Missouri defensive lineman Anthony Payne said to the BisonReport. "We didn't get to see too much of campus, but I like the view of it from driving around campus. The facilities were very nice too and their spring game had an awesome environment because there were a ton of fans there."
Payne also earned a scholarship for North Dakota State while on the visit to Fargo.
"I probably talked the most with coach Riley and Klieman," Payne explained to the BisonReport. "Riley and I were just having some small talk about how it's up at NDSU really. Coach Klieman is the one that offered me while we were in his office. Klieman said he liked the way I play the game and hopes I make the decision to come be a Bison for him. They offer is at defensive end as well. It's exciting to receive any scholarship offer, but I like to win, so this one is even more exciting.
North Dakota State is in a good place for the Missouri defensive lineman following the offer a few weeks ago.
"NDSU is at the top of my list of schools right now," Payne told the BisonReport. "I'm not really planning to take any other trips or visits at this time as I'm going to focus on my finals and football and take a break from visits. I'm thinking before the start of my senior season is when I'll make a decision, so here in the next couple months."
