"The NDSU coaches talked about what they did on the coaching staff and then we got a tour of the facilities," Larimore (N.D.) defensive lineman Levi Hofer said to the BisonReport. "The campus was great and the facilities were impressive. My favorite part about campus was probably walking onto the field of the Fargodome as I grew up a huge Bison fan and it was awesome to see it from on the field with the lights shining down."
Hofer spoke a lot with one of the Bison coaches.
"I talked mostly with coach Hedberg and he said he was happy to have me there," Hofer explained to the BisonReport. "He asked me some about baseball and then said he'd be by my school sometime this month. He didn't say anything about an offer, but it's a childhood dream of mine and it'd be crazy if that came true. It'd be awesome. I've been going to Bison games since I was a kid and my parents went to NDSU, and my brother goes there, so I've been a big fan since I've been born. I'll be going to NDSU's team camp this summer and the individual one as well."
NDSU isn't the only Dakota school that Hofer has heard from.
"I've heard mostly from all of the Dakota schools like North Dakota, South Dakota, South Dakota State and the University of Mary," Hofer said. "Most say that they're really interested in me and want me to visit their campus. For camps this summer, I'm registered at North Dakota and North Dakota State, but I'm hoping to fit in maybe one or two more around my baseball schedule."
